Efflorescence Cleaner - 1 Gallon

One gallon cleans approximately 200 square feet.

Specially formulated to dissolve efflorescence (whitish salt) and remove ground-in dirt (traffic marks, etc.) on pavers, slabs and retaining walls made of concrete. Containing no hydrochloric (muriatic) acid, it works deep without discoloring or damaging the surface. It brightens up the color, cleans evenly and enables protectors to better penetrate the material. Techniseal^® adaptable sprayer(sold separately) makes application easier and quicker.

DIRECTIONS:

To ensure the results will meet your expectations, always test the product on a small hidden area of approximately 4 sq. ft.

Important: During the hot season, do not apply under blazing sun. Do not apply with a mop or a broom. Never let PAVER PRIMER dry on the surface; keep it wet at all times until it is completely rinsed off.

           
 Wetting: To reduce the penetration of EFFLORESCENCE CLEANER down sand joints and thus make product easier to rinse, first wet the surface to saturate joints with water; then let the surface dry, and apply product.

           
 Application: Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles.
1) Attach a TECHNISEAL SPRAYER to the container, and connect a garden hose to the SPRAYER;
2) Work one section (200 sq. ft.) at a time. On each section, spray an entire EFFLORESCENCE CLEANER container, making sure to cover the whole surface without leaving any dry spots;
3) Gently scrub the surface using a long handled brush;
4) Rinse immediately and thoroughly, until all traces of foam disappear, before proceeding to another section.
In cleaning each section, overlap the edges of adjoining sections to ensure that no uncleaned strips are left between them.
5) Once all the sections have been cleaned, rinse thoroughly and let dry.

If there is any efflorescence left on the surface, repeat cleaning.

           
IMPORTANT:
This product may damage the material if applied at full strength; must be diluted with 4 or more parts water. Allow efflorescence to rise to the surface for at least 60 days before cleaning and sealing new pavers. Do not use on natural stones or poured concrete. Never use this product without first consulting with local authorities regarding the application of such products, waste management and run-offs.
